Visiting the Loo at the Olympics
Week 1 of the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London are underway. To prepare for the thousands of athletes, coaches and spectators visiting the UK for the Games, the Olympic committee had to think of everything; and that includes plumbing!
It is said that there are as many as 10,000 temporary toilets located in and around the Olympic Village in London. For instance, the pool water used to clean the filters in the Aquatic Center is reused to flush the facility's toilets.
